Churches of Olcio

Oratorio di San Giuliano, built in 1675. The main altar is adorned with a picture of the Virgin and SS. Giuliano e Carlo Borromeo. Near the railway station.

Oratorio di San Rocco, built in 1629 during the plague outbreak, restored in 1931. Statues of Madonna della Pace and San Rocco.

Chiesa Sant'Eufemia This is the parish Church, and has been there beside the lake since at least 1453. The church is richly decorated inside with nineteenth-century paintings in the presbytery of Giovanni Maria Tagliaferri (1873). The main altar is polychrome marble and has a picture of the Nativity scene. In the counter in an elevated position is a valuable organ made by Francesco Carnisi(1853).

Chiesa di Santa Maria sopra Olcio Probably built in the Middle Ages as a hospice for religious people, certainly already active in 1145. In the 13th century it was a hospice of the Benedictine monks. It can be reached from the center Olcio and heading towards Era. Nice view of the mountains and lake The main altar is adorned with a picture of Mary and Child between SS. Giuliano and Lorenzo. Seriously damaged by a disastrous fire in 1997, it was later restored to its present form.
